Bản quan sát nửa năm «Quan sát sức sống kinh tế miền Nam nửa năm 2022» xuất phát từ nhu cầu thực tiễn của quá trình chuyển đổi kinh tế Việt Nam, vận dụng tổng hợp các phương pháp nghiên cứu chuẩn mực, phân tích hệ thống các vấn đề liên quan và được công bố sau khi qua bình duyệt đồng cấp.
Bối cảnh nghiên cứu
Nghiên cứu này xuất phát từ nhu cầu thực tiễn của quá trình chuyển đổi kinh tế và phát triển vùng của Việt Nam, tiến hành phân tích hệ thống đối với các vấn đề mang tính cơ cấu trong các lĩnh vực liên quan, nhằm làm rõ cơ chế của vấn đề, bổ sung nền tảng bằng chứng và cung cấp tham khảo cho thiết kế chính sách cũng như thực tiễn ngành.

Nghiên cứu tuân thủ quy phạm nghiên cứu của Hội, kết hợp phương pháp định lượng và định tính:
- Mẫu và dữ liệu: chủ yếu dựa trên số liệu thống kê công khai và khảo sát của Hội, bổ sung bằng phỏng vấn ngành;
- Phương pháp: kết hợp thống kê mô tả, phân rã cơ cấu và kiểm định độ vững;
- Bình duyệt: qua sơ duyệt độc lập và phúc duyệt chéo, bảo đảm kết luận có thể kiểm chứng;
- Chuẩn đo: định nghĩa và nguồn của các chỉ tiêu then chốt đều được thuyết minh.

Quá trình bình duyệt và kết luận của thành quả này được thực hiện độc lập, không chịu sự can thiệp của yếu tố hành chính, tài trợ và bên ngoài; toàn văn và bản tóm tắt được lưu trữ theo quy định, có thể tra cứu kiểm chứng bằng mã số trên hệ thống tra cứu của Hội.
